Ethics Courses

Boundaries, Professionalism and the Ethics of Massage

Ethics in massage is no laughing matter, but the discussion of ethics doesn’t have to be dry and boring. In this 4 hour course, we’ll talk and laugh our way through the serious subject of massage ethics.

In 4 hours, we’ll cover:

  • Boundaries
  • Professional roles
  • Transference
  • Countertransference

You will come away with real strategies you can use to maintain your ethical massage practice. We’ll cover real examples and situations and I encourage you to bring any situations you have encountered (keeping client confidentiality at all times).

Many LMPs work alone and have no one with whom to discuss ethical dilemmas. My hope is that you will walk away with not only the knowledge you need to run an ethical practice, but also make valuable connections with fellow LMPs.

Note: This 4 hour course meets the Washington state requirement for 4 hours of ethics CEUs every 2 years.
